Makes about 9 to 10 dozen cookies.
3-1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1-1/2 Cups Butter, Softened
1 Cup Granulated Sugar
2 Tablespoons Milk
1-1/2 Teaspoon Clear Almond Extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In medium bowl, combine flour and baking powder and set aside.
In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg, milk and almond extract. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing until dough is smooth.
Do not chill dough.
Fill cookie press barrel with dough and fit with desired disc. Press cookies directly onto ungreased cookie sheet. Decorate each cookie, as desired, with colored sugar, etc.
Bake 10-12 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Remove cookie sheet from oven and place it on cooling grid until cookies have completely cooled and set.
